March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month (PGAM). This month, the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling invites you to join them in promoting AWARENESS of problem gambling and taking ACTION to foster the health and well-being of Maryland residents.

 

Check out the latest Dialogue for the PTTC article on Problem Gambling 

Promote AWARENESS:

  • Post PGAM flyers/images within your organization and on your website.
  • Include an article on March PGAM within your organization's newsletter and communications. Check out the 
  • Order awareness materials from the Center available at no cost.

 

Take ACTION:

  • Participate in Gambling Disorder Screening Day on Tuesday, March 9th.
  • Utilize your social media to post awareness messages during March.
  • Invite the Center's Peer Recovery Support Specialists to present virtually to your recovery groups.
