Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Resources
Experts widely accept an individual’s Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) score as a powerful predictor for social determinants of health and outcomes in an adult’s life, which can include substance misuse. Building resilience in communities and individuals can be a powerful counter to ACEs, and preventionists play an important role in helping build this capacity. We’ve included here some resources on ACEs and trauma-informed approaches for preventionists, including podcasts and webinars presented by the South Southwest PTTC. |
