Help Prevent Underage Drinking: Stipends Available
Register Now for a 2019 Communities Talk Planning Stipend
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is offering colleges, universities, and local organizations a limited number of $750 stipends to help cover the cost of planning and holding an underage drinking prevention event as part of the Communities Talk initiative. Communities Talk events provide an environment for open conversations among youth, students, parents, and community stakeholders about the importance of preventing underage drinking.
Request Your Stipend Today, Host an Event in Fall 2019
SAMHSA will distribute stipends on a first- come, first-served basis. You can request your stipend today but host your event before December 31, 2019.
