Publication Date: Mar 08, 2019
The Great Lakes Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) is a new five-year initiative funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to provide free training and technical assistance to the substance use prevention workforce in HHS Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, and WI. We’re based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Our prevention areas of focus include:
- Naloxone education/training
- Overdose prevention
- Anti-stigma efforts
The Great Lakes PTTC conducted a needs assessment of Region 5 in Spring 2019. Survey responses will help us develop training and technical assistance that meets the needs of the prevention workforce in our region and that you can access for free!
