Since 2017, methamphetamine use has increased nationally and in 4 of the 6 states in the Great Lakes region. Although use remains relatively low compared with opioid use, and the year-over-year increases are not always statistically significant, prevention professionals should prepare to address these trends before they potentially worsen.
