Continuing Education

The Mountain Plains Prevention Technology Transfer Center provides continuing education certificates for NAADAC and NCECH:

We are approved providers of continuing education hours (CEHs) for the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).

NAADAC continuing education hours are approved by these organizations and boards.

Note: The National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) accepts NAADAC approved courses. Additionally, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) approves NAADAC webinars on a case-by-case basis (Approval #88640326-XXXX).

ICRCThe Mountain Plains PTTC, funded by SAMHSA, is approved to provide CEHs for Prevention Specialists (through IC & RC state boards) in CO, SD, UT, and WY. Please note: MT is in the process of receiving IC & RC credentialing for Prevention Specialists. Please keep your certificates as trainings will count towards training hours once MT has the credential.

We are a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECHs) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCECH). Programs we offer are designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®)

Certificates for Live Events:

NAADAC or CHES Continuing Education Certificates are only available for those that register for and attend a live webinar or in-person event.

Following live webinars/trainings, you will receive an email with a link to access then download your certificate.

Certificates for Recorded Webinars:

Unfortunately, certificates of attendance are not available for viewing recorded webinars.

That said, many of our recorded webinars are available (or will be available, soon) on the HealtheKnowledge online learning portal under PREVENTION OF SUBSTANCE MISUSE. The HealtheKnowledge online learning portal offers a wide variety of courses in the areas of improving health and health services. HealtheKnowledge offers a Certificate of Completion for you to keep once you have passed the course requirements. If continuing education (CE) credit is required, this is available for most courses for $5 per credit hour.
