Multi-Tiered School-Based Prevention & Intervention Supports for Adolescent Substance Use


This presentation will review the multi-tiered prevention framework to support student mental health and substance use prevention in schools. The content will highlight strategies at each tier of support and suggestions for school-based providers on how to develop a similar model.

As a result of attending this presentation, you will be able to:
1) Diagram the conceptual framework of multi-tiered systems of behavioral health supports in secondary setting as well as best prevention and intervention practices; and
2) Identify and implement practices to enhance their own programs to best serve students.
