Native Center at CADCA's National Leadership Forum

Representatives from the National American Indian and Alaska Native PTTC, the National American Indian and Alaska Native Childhood Trauma TSA (Category II), and the Indigenous Behavioral Health and Leadership Academy programs at the Native Center for Behavioral Health are participating in CADCA's 33rd Annual National Leadership Forum and SAMHSA's 19th Annual Prevention Day at National Harbor, MD, this week.

Liz Saathoff, MPH, program coordinator for the National AI/AN Childhood Trauma TSA, and Monica Dreyer Rossi, Cand. Polit., head of the Indigenous Behavioral Health and Leadership Academy programs, gave a presentation Monday titled "Empowering Native Youth and Native Parents to be Catalysts for Prevention." 

Saathoff and Dreyer Rossi are accompanied at the conference by C. Allison Baez, PhD, program coordinator for the National American Indian and Alaska Native PTTC. In addition to their booth at the conference, the three also met with U.S. Sens. Charles Grassley and Joni Ernst to discuss the Native Center's work in Iowa and throughout the U.S.
