The Diversity Inclusion Project Showcase is a round robin style initiative, designed to provide community-based organizations, nonprofits, and mental health care professionals the opportunity to showcase their work to prospective funding partners at all levels – including federal and state leaders, philanthropy, colleges and universities. The showcase aims to increase access, visibility, and viability of community entities doing exceptional work, by introducing their missions to potential funders and grant opportunities. For this unique series, we are highlighting grant and internship opportunities for HBCU students. At the end of each day, students and faculty will have a strong understanding of where to search for internship opportunities, networking locations, and grant announcements, that will aid in their behavioral health journeys.

Audience: HBCU behavioral health students in Graduate, Professional, and Residency Programs; Black American Behavioral Health Practitioners in counseling, psychology, psychiatry, nursing, social work and other related fields.

Day One: Federal Funding Opportunities

Federal agencies will showcase their loan repayment and service opportunities for behavioral health students and professionals. Day Two: SAMHSA Minority Fellowship Program Showcase

On day two, SAMHSA Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) grantees will showcase their programs in the areas of counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, nursing, psychiatry, and social work.
