Policy Advocate Community of Practice

Would you like to contribute your policy experience to a community focused on policy as a tool in substance use prevention?

Are you interested in guidance from experts and learnings from peers focused on how to strengthen your policy planning?

Is your coalition at the beginning stages of an ATOD policy campaign or about to begin one?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, consider joining the Southeast PTTC Policy Advocate Community of Practice. A Community of Practice is a web-based collaborative group who shares a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better by interacting regularly.

All registrations will be reviewed for eligibility*. If you meet the requirements, you will be asked to participate in a 15–20-minute phone call to discuss your policy goals and topic ideas for the community of practice.

The Community of Practice will meet virtually on the following dates/times:

  • Wednesday June 22, 1:00 –2:00 EDT
  • Wednesday July 13, 1:00 –2:00 EDT
  • Wednesday Aug 3, 1:00 –2:00 EDT
  • Wednesday Aug 24, 1:00 –2:00 EDT

More sessions are coming in the future!
