Building a Supportive Workplace Culture: Centering Care in Times of Crisis and Beyond

"Self-care" is a term that evokes images of bubble baths, face masks, and yoga poses. But what does it really mean to offer care to ourselves? And are our workplaces structured to support us in doing so? The COVID-19 crisis is an excellent opportunity to build practices that can help us navigate this current moment and that we can carry into the future to create caring workplaces for all. In this 1.5-hour training, participants will explore what it means to build a workplace community that is caring. We will discuss how participants can make space for individual, interpersonal, and structural solutions that can keep employees healthy and prevent burnout.

This webinar is recommended for those setting agendas and building team cultures, such as managers, directors, and other organizational leaders.

Desired Outcomes:

  • A shared understanding of the impact of anxiety and trauma on the brain.
  • A shared understanding of tools and frameworks for a healthy workforce and workplace culture.
  • A dynamic discussion of ideas for individual, interpersonal, and structural demonstration of care within a workplace.
