The 2024-2025 Building Our Leadership and Diversity (BOLD) prevention fellowship program will focus on increasing the number of prevention professionals working within Black/African American communities and building their capacity to implement effective prevention efforts in Black/African American communities.
The BOLD Fellow will receive mentorship from host site prevention staff associated with their placement and will be exposed to the day-to-day workings of the site. This year the host site is Youngstown Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program (YUMADAOP) in Youngstown, OH. The Great Lakes PTTC BOLD Fellow will work on projects as assigned by their host site placement approximately 50% of the time and will dedicate the other 50% of their time to learning and capacity development activities coordinated by the PTTC network. Included with the 50% of time for the PTTC, the BOLD Fellows will travel to national conferences/trainings at least twice per year for multiple days.
This is a full-time, paid fellowship using funds from SAMHSA by the Great Lakes PTTC. For more information and application use the button below. Deadline for applications is November 14, 2024. https://jobs.wisc.edu/jobs/pttc-bold-fellow-madison-wisconsin-united-states
