Starting in California, she supported individuals with technical assistance and training to obtain their state certifications in addiction counseling. Over the past six years, Alicia has led the Washington State substance use disorder prevention workforce system, assisting with implementing trainings, creating guidance documents for the field, leading the WA State Fellowship Program, and more.
