Evaluating Your Prevention Programs: A Two-Part Series
Part 1: Thursday, October 10, 2019, 1 to 2:30 pm ET &
Part 2: Thursday, October 17, 2019, 1 to 2:30 pm ET
Communities are often asked to design and implement complex valuations to ensure that their limited prevention resources are being used effectively. To support practitioners in these efforts, this two-part webinar series will explore the language of evaluation, key tasks in evaluation planning and data collection, and strategies for balancing best practices in evaluation with real-world constraints.
- Part 1: Building on the foundational webinar offered in June, Part 1 will examine the purpose and types of evaluation, including process-based and outcomes-based evaluation. It will also explore the key elements of an outcomes-based logic model, and how logic models can be used to inform the selection of measurement methods in measuring intervention outcomes.
- Part 2: Explore strategies for analyzing and interpreting data and sharing evaluation results.
During both sessions, participants will have an opportunity to discuss evaluation challenges and share strategies for addressing and/or minimizing their impact.
Certificates of completion will be provided to practitioners who participate in both webinars.
