There’s fear and anxiety in the media and in our communities because we don’t know what to expect from the Corona Virus. Calming anxiety and staying connected are resilient ways to support immune health and well-being. This training will provide calm, connected and mindful strategies to stay regulated during stressful times. We’ll focus on ways to strengthen our connection with ourselves, one another and nature. The value of connectedness is supported by research and we’ll learn about the the 80-year Harvard study and how connection is being used to help reverse chronic disease. For inspiration, we’ll end with Power 9 principles from the Blue Zones and the gift of connecting with nature.

After the session, participants will be able to:

1. Summarize the importance of connection which is an important aspect of resilience

2. Describe negativity bias and a strategy for countering it

3. Identify 3 strategies for staying calm and connected
