Trauma Informed Care Through the Lens of COVID-19

Two-part webinar:

Tuesday, June 30th, 12:00PM - 1:30PM (Eastern Time)

Wednesday, July 1st, 12:00PM - 1:30PM (Eastern Time)

Course Description: In recent years, treatment centers have focused on creating trauma informed settings by integrating safety protocols and avoiding re-traumatization in service delivery. The emergence of COVID-19 as a pandemic has increased rates of trauma and stress in our communities to levels that most of us have not experienced. Still, providers need to be equipped to address the traumatic impact of the current environment. This webinar will look at some of the basics of trauma, as well as some of the effects of COVID-19 on trauma and look at ways to heal.
