Session 3: Prevention Leadership and Sustainability

This third sharing session in the series will build on the learnings and sharings of the first two calls. Participants are encouraged to bring successes and challenges with implementing tools and strategies from previous calls. We will also explore additional opportunities for building sustainability through prevention leadership and project management.

During this sharing session participants will:

• Explore resources and tools for building sustainability
• Have an opportunity to brainstorm solutions for project management challenges
• Gather ideas from others’ successes

Who Should Participate

The audience for these Peer-Sharing sessions is Partnerships for Success Grantees in HHS Region 9: American Samoa, Arizona, California, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. 

Presenter

Clare Grace Jones has worked in the prevention field for more than 15 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design from UMass Boston and is a certified Community Prevention Specialist. She began her career in prevention working directly with communities, and has since held roles as a Director of Prevention Services and Training Director and has provided training and technical assistance to a variety of projects, states and regions. Her areas of expertise include capacity building, training design, project support and virtual engagement.  

Certificates of Attendance

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 1.5 hours for participating in the live session.
