The social norms approach to behavior change focuses on positive messages about healthy behaviors and attitudes that are common to most people in a group, working to correct common misperceptions that unhealthy behaviors are more common. However, it can be challenging to develop and implement an social norms approach. This webinar will provide a brief overview of what the social norms approach is, how it can be used, and considerations for successfully implementing a social norms campaign. This webinar will consist of approximately 1 hour presentation followed by 30 minute Q&A and discussion.
