2,000 hours working experience providing Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) prevention services at a substance abuse prevention program licensed by the state of Michigan
Supervised Prevention Experience:
Educational / Training Requirements:
120 contact hours education required; at least 24 of the contact hours must be specific to ATOD Prevention and the remaining contact hours may be ATOD-related addressing the IC&RC Prevention Domains
Examination:
Successful completion of the IC&RC Prevention Specialist written examination
Advanced Title:
Certified Prevention Consultant (CPC-R)
