Part 1 of a two-part webinar series

This 90-minute webinar will provide Region 5 prevention providers with the information and skills to facilitate engaging online meetings and prevention services. We will explore challenges and tips associated with working in online platforms and how to best use them in prevention work.

Kris Gabrielsen has worked in the substance abuse prevention field since 1991. She was the Associate Director of the Western Center for the Application of Prevention Technologies (CAPT), co-authored the first Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training curriculum, and co-authored the textbook, Substance Abuse Prevention: The Intersection of Science and Practice. Kris has coordinated grant writing teams to successfully receive numerous grants from federal and state agencies, as well as foundations. She works with state, regional, and community prevention programs across the nation to enhance their effectiveness.
