PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS

1. Prerequisite: Participants must have completed a course in Prevention Ethics.

2. Full attendance of the virtual training is required. Credit will not be given for partial attendance.

3. Your participation and engagement are very important in this virtual training. In order to participate fully, you must have access to the following items. Please verify that you are able to access each of these items before the training. If you do not have access to any of the items listed below, please contact us at [email protected] immediately.
  • Computer with a webcam, speaker, microphone, and Internet access
  • Zoom Client for Meetings
       • Download Zoom Client for Meetings here: https://zoom.us/download
       • You must use a computer to join Zoom. Do not join Zoom from a phone or tablet.
  • Google Apps (specifically, Google Slides)
       • To check if you have access to Google Slides, please go to https://ce-ttc.link/google-slides-test
       • If you’re unable to see the Google Slides document linked above, please contact us immediately.

4. Plan to be on video for the entire training and ready to participate in discussion.

5. Please join 10 minutes early so that you can ensure that you can access the training and do any audio troubleshooting if needed.

6. Have available:

• Paper, pen
• Plan lunch/snacks ahead of time (there will be one 15-minute break)
• Course materials - available on this page
  • You will need to refer to these materials during the course.
  • You can access them by either printing the materials ahead of time, viewing them on another screen (e.g. second monitor or tablet), or opening them in another window on your computer.
