Director of Prevention Services Division, in State of Colorado, requested TA services to transcreate and translate, to Spanish, the moderated, online, Prevention Foundations Ethics course for Colorado Prevention professionals. Mountain Plains PTTC worked with the National Hispanic and Latino PTTC as well as the PTTC National Coordinating Office to discuss translation services and options for getting a copy of the English course to be translated to Spanish. During these meetings, it was decided that since a Spanish course would be beneficial to many preventionist around the country, the National Coordinating Office would hire the translator and instructional designer to create the Spanish course.  The Mountain Plains PTTC participated in the meetings to choose the right translator and course designer as well as communicated with the Director of Prevention Services Division regarding the details. The course is currently under construction as of March, 2023 and should be completed by April, 2023.  Once completed, Mountain Plains worked with Director of Prevention Services Division and its training contractor to ensure they received a copy of the course.
