In honor of Black History Month, the Mountain Plains would like to highlight the African American Behavioral Health Center of Excellence 

The African American Behavioral Health Center of Excellence is a new national Center funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. 

They are determined to help our field transform behavioral health services for African Americans, making them: Safer, More effective, More accessible, More inclusive More welcoming, More engaging, and More culturally appropriate and responsive.
