IC&RC Announces the Finalization of the Updated Alcohol & Drug Counselor and Prevention Specialist Examinations

 

The International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), the world leader in addiction-related credentialing, is proud to announce the finalization of the updated Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) and Prevention Specialist (PS) examinations. These updated examinations are aligned with the 2022 IC&RC ADC and PS Job Analysis (JA).

 

The first administration date for the updated ADC and PS examinations is Wednesday, February 1, 2023. All candidates scheduled to take the ADC or PS examination, on or after this date, will be taking the updated examination.

 

Candidates preparing to take the updated ADC examination (on or after February 1), can find the new Candidate Guide, posted on IC&RC’s website.

The new Candidate Guide will be available for applicants taking the updated PS examination (on or after February 1). This guide will be soon available on IC&RC’s website, under ‘Examinations’ and ‘Exam Study Materials’.
