wandaWanda Hudson, Product Development and Distance Learning Coordinator

Wanda is the product development and distance learning coordinator for the South Southwest Prevention Technology Transfer Center (SSW PTTC). She brings over 15 years of experience with training and technical assistance (T/TA) as a behavioral health professional, ensuring the caliber and quality of SSW PTTC’s client services and products. She plays a vital role in the planning and delivery of high-impact T/TA services to the prevention workforce, emerging prevention professionals, organizations, and community prevention stakeholders.

Ms. Hudson works closely with project coordinators for course logistics while building and maintaining trust with collaborating agencies and entities. She develops the procedures and processes for reviewing training materials using instruction systems design approaches and an Appreciative Inquiry approach for all training delivery, including those offered virtually. She aligns training objectives with desired client outcomes. Ms. Hudson has worked across the Southwest in substance misuse prevention programs, ensuring the quality of training alignment with sound instructional design procedures, and alignments with the SSW PTTC workplan outcomes.
